Kei Minoura 箕浦慧





2015年度「48時間ノイケルン=ベルリン芸術祭」で公開された箕浦の監督、振り付け作品「Silent Crowd」(ダンサーとしても参加)は高い評価を得て2016年に独ベルリンとポルトガルにて再演が予定されている。

Kei Minoura is a Japanese dancer and choreographer born in 1986. Under the influence of the “Happening” art movement begun in the late 1950’s, Minoura has presented numerous dance works focusing on the correlation between modern digital society and physical expression.

Minoura was born and raised in Nagoya, Japan. After graduating from high school there, he attended and graduated from the Perm State Ballet School in Perm, Russia. From 2009 to 2012, as a member of the Moscow City Ballet, he performed on over 600 stages in over fifteen countries. Currently, he is active as a freelance artist based in Berlin.

In recent years, Minoura has participated as a dancer in Festival d’Avignon (France, 2012), Fukuoka International Ballet Festival (Japan, 2012), The Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker Tours (USA, 2012-1015), L’Opéra-Théâtre de Metz Métropole’s production of “The Stranger/L'Étranger” (France, 2015) and 48 Stunden Neukölln - Berlin (Germany, 2015) and as an actor in Festival Internationale Neue Dramatik (Berlin, 2014).

The work “Silent Crowd,” which Minoura directed and choreographed and in which he also took part as a dancer, garnered an outstanding reputation at 48 Stunden Neukölln – Berlin in 2015 and is scheduled to be performed in Berlin and Portugal in 2016.
